What we do

Showing up in person, every time.

From TV donation ceremonies to community visits — a look at how Khmer Khom works across Cambodia's remote schools.

A group of five men pose outside a school building while presenting a boxed smart TV donation, with Khmer signage above the entrance.

Step one

Every school begins with a handover.

Khmer Khom doesn't send equipment in the mail. Each donation is delivered in person — team members travel to the school, meet the administration, and present the television as part of a formal ceremony the community can witness.

The handover is the first act of a relationship, not a transaction.

Setting up

Mounted, loaded, ready to teach.

After the ceremony comes the practical work: mounting the screen, running the cables, and getting the TV connected to the internet so students can start learning right away.

When the team leaves, the television stays — and with it, access to the internet for every child in that classroom.

Five men collaboratively installing a wall-mounted TV in a clean minimalist room, with one person adjusting the cables while the others observe and assist.
Two men speak to students during a school donation event, with colorful water bottles displayed on a table in front of them.

Community support

Beyond equipment.

Not every contribution is a television. Khmer Khom works alongside donors who bring whatever a school community needs most — supplies, materials, and the simple gesture of showing up in person.

These moments build trust between the organization and the schools we serve.
